My hand is up when watching this video.  I wish I was a youth again.  I know I thought I would never say that because I always made fun of others who said it while I was growing up.  This video is awesome and it looks like a lot of lives are going to be changed.  I wanted to share it with you.  It sparked a little something in me hopefully it will do the same for you.

We have added the June 14 2009 service online http://therockchurchfb.com/media/video-sermons.  This is part of a series called “O Brother Where Art Thou?”  Pastor David speaks to the men of the church and the attack the men are under.  The lights are off for the first few minutes bare with us until the lights come on.

Moving Forward

One of the hardest things in life is identifying where you are, becoming okay with where you are, and then making the changes necessary to move forward. God does not want us standing still for long. Though there are times when we must stand still, in our minds, or in our decision making but never to impeed our progress. God asks us to stand still to receive His direction and peace, then we are to be obedeint and move forward. I challenge you today to first evaluate where you are concering those situations that are bringing you stress. Become okay with where you are… maybe you need to repent for being disobedient? Then immediately do something about where you are. You were not created to sit still or go backwards! God says to us today…. Move Forward!

Pray for our Dominican Team

Our pastor and the mission team is leaving for the Dominican today.  Please pray that they have a safe trip and many people get saved.

New Wednesday Night Service

We will be having a new Wednesday night format.  We will worship together and break into classes afterwards.  The first week was last week and we had a great time.  It’s much more interactive and the fellowship is awesome.  Come join us!

Safe House June 27th

Come worship with homeless and less fortunate.  We will be a blessing to them while being blessed by them.  Come prepared to praise God.

Dominican Republic Trip

We will be leaving for the Dominican Republic From June 22nd through the 25th.  Please pray for those leaving and for the path to be paved.
