Pastor David Edmondson

Pastor David Edmondson along with his wife Stephanie are the Sr. Pastors at The ROCK Church Flowery Branch in Flowery Branch Georgia. The ROCK Church FB is the second church that Pastor David and Stephanie have been the Sr. Pastors of sense the beginning of their full time ministry in 1999. Their first pastorate was in Dahlonega Ga where they started a church with about 20 people. During the first year over 180 people were born again. Many of those people would be discipled, mentored, and schooled, later many would enter into ministry where they continue to serve the Lord and His people.

Pastor David has been ministering for more than 20 years and has a charismatic, humorous, as well as revelatory presentation to his ministry. Pastor David has ministered across the United States as well as in dozens of Countries out side of the US. He has ministered in churches, Bible Institutions, revival services, conferences, leadership training seminars, he has also been on several different television networks includingTBN. Pastor David has also help birth over 100 churches World wide. Besides having a passion for the lost Pastor David excels on platforms of leadership training, spiritual covering or church structure, as well as good ole fashion revival preaching. The revelation and wisdom that comes from the mouth of this young man is truly inspiring and life changing.

Pastor David and Stephanie have two children. Noah is 9 years old and Reagan is 6 as of January 2010.

Sr. Pastor of The ROCK of Dahlonega; 1999-2007

Birth a church with approximately 20 people. In the first year over 180 salvations were experience through this ministry. Within a few short years The ROCK of Dahlonega grew to become the 3rd largest church in Lumpkin County. In 7 years almost 100 men and women attended and graduate from Bible Seminary.

Sr. Pastor of The ROCK CHurch Flowery Branch; 2007-Present

Came to assist in a church plant. Served as Associate Pastor for 2 years and was placed as the Sr Pastor in Oct. 2008. Within the first year The ROCK Church FB grew by over 40%. The ROCK Church FB has also started a thrift store, a food pantry that feed over 2700 people in it’s first year, many other ministries have began within the church body, and they also helped lead a relief effort to the country of Haiti in January 2010 to help the earthquake victims.

Marty Darracott

Marty Darracott serves as the youth pastor here at THE ROCK Church Flowery Branch. Marty married his wife Paula in 1993 and they have two beautiful girls, Madison and Carson. re:Generation youth church, the youth ministry of THE ROCK Church Flowery Branch, is pastored by Marty Darracott. Marty is an incredible spiritual voice to this generation of young people. He operates with a long-haul youth ministry mentality coupled with an intense passion to lead a great awakening in this Generation. Using an innovative, dramatic, often comedic, yet profound presentation of the great news of Jesus Christ, he strives to redefine the post-modern, mosaic culture of today. Pastor Marty & his wife Paula have an energetic and contagious passion for God that has been used to minister at various youth ministries, community outreaches, FCA meetings, radio fundraising events, youth camps, retreats and conferences. Marty has been personally mentored by Jeanne Mayo through her ministry called the CADRE. The CADRE is a national network of youth pastors who are inspired, equipped, instructed and encouraged by Jeanne and her amazing team. Acclaimed by Ministries Today as “America’s Number One Youth Pastor”, Jeanne Mayo has thrown her heart and passion into youth ministry for nearly four decades. She has taken youth groups from 30 students to nearly 1,000. She is the founder of Youth Source, a non-profit organization that equips and encourages both youth pastors and youth leaders. She is a regular columnist for Group Magazine and Ministries Today. Jeanne has been a coach, mentor, “Big Sis” and spiritual Mom to Marty and has left her thumbprint on his life.

Marty enjoys things like: spending time with his beautiful wife and 2 amazing girls, catching delicious bass, hunting wolverine out west, skydiving, bingo, triathlons, break dancing, folk dancing, jazz dancing, rain dancing, dog whisperer, opera singer, motocross rider, lobbyist, rock climbing, graffiti art, crocodile hunting, frisbee golf, personal trainer to the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, OREO, Base Jumping, world class sprinter, yoga master, Mixed Martial Artist, goose watching, collecting dust-bunnies and saying things like “Hammer don’t hurt em” or “wikki wikki”!

Rick Ledbetter

Pastor Rick serves as the Senior Associate Pastor at The ROCK Church Flowery Branch. Rick and his wife Anita and have two sons, Josh and Kody. Rick came in contact with Rock Ministries at a time in which both his Church and his personal life were at a dramatic turning point. He and Anita were part of the remaining body of a Church in Dahlonega that was in a desperate need of help. Down to the last 20-25 members they were introduced to Pastor Todd and Rock Ministries. Pastor Todd had been looking to plant a Church in Dahlonega and God’s perfect timing met with God’s perfect will. Rick and Anita joined into a move of God that Dahlonega had not witnessed for a long time. Many were saved; healed, restored, and discipled during the time Pastor David was there. A great Church was birthed and was set into motion. As a result of Rick and Anita’s times with Pastor David and Stephanie they have been places that they could not have imagined and seen people’s lives changed in miraculous ways. They have experienced the move of God that they could only have dreamed of. Rick has been on ministry ventures to Europe, Africa and across the U.S, and they have met some of the most influential leaders in the ministry of today. Rick and Anita graduated from RMTC (Covenant Life Seminary) where they sat under Dr. Ed Kuhn, Pastor Karen Smith, Pastor David Edmondson and other great teachers. They have served Pastor David and Stephanie as Armor bearers for 8+ years.

Rick is quoted to say, “Having been introduced to all this is GREAT but the most EXCITING thing about all of this is that THIS IS ONLY JUST THE BEGINNING!!!”

Jerry Leaphart

Jerry Leaphart serves as the Minister of Music at THE ROCK Church Flowery Branch. He has been a covenant partner of THE ROCK Ministries, Inc. since 1999. He first started at THE ROCK of Dahlonega under the Leadership of Pastor David and Stephanie Edmondson, and now serves at the Flowery Branch Location. Jerry has been leading worship for THE ROCK ministries since 2000, and is looking forward to the opportunity that God has given him to continue leading Reveal Worship Ministries. Jerry is a thriving musician; he sings, plays the piano, and plays the guitar. Music has been one of his passions since he was a little boy, and now he channels that passion to play and sing for his Savior. God called him into the ministry in 1999, and he has continued to actively pursue his calling to this very day. Jerry is the head of a panel of worship leaders at THE ROCK Church Flowery Branch, and is the overseer of the entire worship ministry. There are currently five teams: Reveal Travel team, Sunday morning team, adult team, youth team, and children’s team. The travel team is frequently asked to play at a variety of places including Bound 4 Life meetings, school assemblies, church services, and youth conferences. Jerry is always sure to travel with team, and he feels that it is his duty to be a servant leader and make an impact on the lives of the team members. Jerry also serves as a youth leader under the leadership of Pastor Marty and Paula Darracott of re:Generation Youth Church. He sees the urgency in this hour to minister to this generation of youth and young adults. He is Passionate about being a Godly example to teenagers, and helping push them to their full potential in Christ Jesus Jerry lives to worship God with every ounce of his being. One of the greatest desires of his heart is to see God’s kingdom and power manifest for people to be set free, healed, and radically changed as they encounter God in worship. Jerry is a passionate worship leader with an anointing to bring an entire generation into an all-consuming encounter with the living God.

Monica Mercer

Monica has been a covenant partner of the Rock Ministries since 2002 along with her three beautiful daughters, Christian, Courtney and Chandler. She met her wonderful husband, Mcallister through the Rock Ministries in 2005. Pastor Marty Darracott performed their wedding ceremony on September 30, 2006. Mcallister has a precious daughter, Gwynn and Monica and Mcallister are so blessed by their four daughters. Monica and Mcallister began attending The Rock Flowery Branch in December 2006.

Monica has served in various ways in children’s ministry for over 15 years and loves teaching children about the love of God and watching them get excited about being at church. She served as Children’s Director for one of the Rock Ministry churches in 2004 where she directed Vacation Bible School for two summers and led Wednesday night services. She and Mcallister also served together in the children’s ministry in 2006. Monica is so excited to be serving at The Rock Flowery Branch as Associate Director of Children’s Ministry with Pastor Marty Darracott. Children are such a joy to teach and are so eager to learn in fun and creative ways.

Monica, Mcallister and their daughters are blessed to call The Rock Flowery Branch their home church and are excited to serve in any way they are needed.

Becca Singletary

Becca Singletary serves as the Associate Minister to Music as well as a youth leader of re:generation youth church at THE ROCK Church Flowery Branch. Becca has been a covenant partner of The Rock Ministries since 2003 and began serving at THE ROCK of Dahlonega as a youth leader in Crossfire Student Ministries at the young age of 16. Becca has been aware of the call to ministry on her life since she was a little girl and began her journey of ministry through leading praise and worship. As a spiritual father and mother to Becca, Pastor David and Stephanie Edmondson have closely mentored and poured life into Becca. They have trained her to serve with integrity and position herself to achieve greatness, but above all, pursue an intimate relationship with her Heavenly Father. In 2006, Becca made the transition with Pastor David and Stephanie Edmondson to THE ROCK Church Flowery Branch. Becca began leading praise and worship with Jerry Leaphart for re:generation youth church under the leadership of Pastor Marty Darracott. As the worship ministry grew Becca began assisting Jerry in leading the adult congregation as well. Becca has been serving in ministry with Jerry since 2003. It is their desire to rise up worship leaders and worship teams in this generation. Their hearts are uniquely knitted together and both carry a burning passion to reveal the heart of God through worship to all people.

Within re:generation youth church, Becca leads a small group (re:group) and also holds an active part in the drama team (re:action) as well as mentoring the interning worship team members. Becca desires to see this generation turn their hearts to the Father, radically pursue holiness, grab hold of their value in the Kingdom of God and usher in the next great awakening. Becca also finds such joy in mentoring young women, imparting strength to them as she shares the obstacles she has faced and overcome through Christ’s love and acceptance.

Becca is honored to serve at THE ROCK Church Flowery Branch and is honored to be a part of such a dynamically innovative staff changing the world one life at a time.

Ryan Lucia

Ryan is an Associate Pastor in Training. He is married to an amazing woman of God. Ryan and Stephenie have been married since May 23rd 2008 and are expecting a baby girl in February 2009 Evangeline Grace Lucia. Ryan has been a member of The Rock Ministries since 2000. He has served in the following ministries Children’s, Youth, Outreach, Mission, Sports, Power Hour, Usher, Greeter, and Parking Lot. He has been a product of the vision of The Rock Ministries. He started attending soon after getting saved and has been groomed by Pastor Todd Smith, Pastor David Crow, and Pastor David Edmondson. He sat under Dr. Kuhn for 3 years while getting his education at Covenant Life Seminary. He is passionate about his walk with God. He mentors children and young adults that share similar back grounds by choosing the wrong path. He has experienced a dramatic past and has overcome a lot of life’s challenges by using biblical principles. His life and the fact that he is here with us today is a product of prayer from his family and church. His passion comes from knowing God gave him many chances and his mission in life is to use every day to share Gods love with people. We have watched Ryan grow tremendously over the last 8 years and he has a lot of potential to grow into Gods calling for his life.
